This vessel was built by Blade Runner Boats for Cape Egmont rescue in aluminum. She has a top speed (loaded) of 38 knots and 900 lit of diesel giving a range of 400 nmiles at a service speed of 26 knots.

The first aid cabin is log enough to take the stretcher, and the main cabin and cockpit is large enough for rough winter rescue work, helicopter operations etc. The Taranaki oil rigs and helicopter accident rescue form part of the capabilities.
