This boat is a new "landmark" in the catamaran market, where in this case a "high tech construction process, epoxy resin infusion (scrimp) and Kevlar/multiaxial layups are halving the usual structural weights. As a result the hull form is a slim 12:1 true racer/cruiser hull form and a big rig to match. The performance will be breathtaking in the production boat context, while still having a very comfortable interior. The interior modules are also using sophisticated techniques to produce a lighter boat. A Carbon rig is optional. She is aimed at the European market, where African Cats have a large presence and marketing "clout".
